Island blues is a series of landscape paintings of a dream space; the Utopian island. In between night
and dawn, under the dim light, the night Mojavi on my laptop shines with the blue hue of the virtual screen. The deserted landscape suddenly looked so very fantasmic beyond this banal reality. The Utopia where nothing fades and no anxiety drowns us. We once talked about the island that we all dance around naked ‘perfectly un-sad’. And one day the image of the island overlapped with the Mojavi on the screen.
